1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Chosen Pen Group. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and products. By accessing our website or purchasing our services—including publishing consultancy, coaching, courses, and books—you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Chosen Pen Group is owned and operated by Dr. Anissa Short, located at 7764 Bramble Lane, Walls, Mississippi 38680.

2. USE OF SERVICES

You agree to use our services for lawful purposes only. You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use our platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account details and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. SMS / TEXT MESSAGE TERMS

By providing your mobile phone number and affirmatively opting in to receive text messages from Chosen Pen Group, you consent to receive SMS/text messages related to your interactions with us, including appointment reminders, event and webinar information, service-related notifications, customer support communications, and promotional or marketing messages when you have separately opted in to receive them.

Message frequency may vary.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and service plan.

Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service from Chosen Pen Group.

You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to a message. After you send STOP, you may receive one final confirmation message regarding your opt-out request, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you subsequently provide consent again.

You may also contact us directly regarding your messaging preferences.

We are not responsible for delays or failures in the delivery of SMS messages caused by your mobile carrier or other telecommunications providers.

By opting into SMS communications, you confirm that you are the authorized user of the mobile phone number provided or that you have authorization to provide that number for communications from Chosen Pen Group.

We do not sell or share your mobile phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your information may be shared with service providers that assist us in operating our business and delivering communications to you, subject to applicable privacy requirements.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content provided by Chosen Pen Group, including but not limited to books, course materials, videos, graphics, logos, website copy, presentations, and other educational materials, is the intellectual property of Chosen Pen Group and/or Dr. Anissa Short.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use purchased materials for your personal use.

You may not copy, reproduce, record, redistribute, publish, modify, transmit, or sell our materials without express written permission.

5. PAYMENT TERMS

Payments for services and products may be processed through secure third-party payment processors, including Stripe, PayPal, or other authorized payment providers.

Payment Plans

If you select a payment plan, you authorize Chosen Pen Group or its authorized payment processor to charge your selected payment method according to the payment schedule presented at the time of purchase.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, Chosen Pen Group reserves the right to suspend access to applicable services, programs, or digital products until the outstanding balance is resolved.

6. REFUND POLICY

Digital Products & Books

Due to the nature of digital content and published works, all sales are final. No refunds will be issued once access to a digital product has been granted or a physical book has been shipped, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Coaching & Consulting

Fees for services already rendered are non-refundable. Cancellations or requests to reschedule appointments must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

Any additional refund terms presented at the time of purchase for a specific program or service will also apply.

7. USER CONDUCT

When participating in our communities, webinars, coaching sessions, courses, events, or other programs, you agree to conduct yourself professionally and respectfully.

We reserve the right to remove or restrict participation by anyone who engages in harassment, threatening behavior, defamatory conduct, abusive language, discrimination, or other inappropriate or unlawful behavior.

Removal from a program or community for violation of these Terms does not automatically entitle the participant to a refund.

8. PROFESSIONAL DISCLAIMER

Dr. Anissa Short is a success strategist and publishing consultant. Information provided through Chosen Pen Group is intended for educational and informational purposes only.

We do not guarantee specific financial results, publishing outcomes, bestseller status, business growth, revenue, or other specific results.

Your results depend on your individual efforts, decisions, circumstances, market conditions, and other factors outside our control.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Chosen Pen Group and Dr. Anissa Short shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages resulting from your use of or inability to use our services, products, website, or educational materials.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Chosen Pen Group for the specific service or product giving rise to the claim.

10. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chosen Pen Group and Dr. Anissa Short from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of our website, services, products, or materials.

11. PRIVACY

Your use of our website and services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.

By using our services or submitting information through our website, you acknowledge that you have reviewed our Privacy Policy.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the courts located in DeSoto County, Mississippi, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Chosen Pen Group reserves the right to modify or update these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
